LSU Distinguished Communicator ​
The distinguished communicator program which exists through communication across the curriculum (CxC) is a multi-faceted program in which you have to take communication intensive (C-I) courses that fall under the categories of technological, visual, written, and spoken communication. You also must have a faculty mentor, produce a digital portfolio, hold at least one personal development or leadership experience(study abroad, internships, leadership role in a club or personal endeavor) and attend communication workshops. CxC also champions TEDxLSU, which I have been very actively involved in.
Leadership LSU: Class of 2019
Leadership LSU is a program coordinated by Campus Life to further develop skills and abilities within leadership during students' final semesters at LSU. The program included a two-day retreat, six workshop days which featured community leaders as speakers, a community service day at Family and Youth Service Center (FYSC), and a closing lunchon.
Chevron Leadership Academy Program Graduate
In 2016 I was admitted into the Chevron Leadership Academy program which consisted of 20 students that were selected by a faculty panel. The program requires students to attend workshops, seminars, and participate in a mentorship program with industry members in order to strengthen and further develop leadership skills.
LSU Engaged Citizen​
The LSU Engaged Citizen program championed by the LSU Center for Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership is a program in which you have to take a minimum of 7 hours of service learning courses throughout your degree program, complete 100 service hours as an LSU student, and write a reflective paper on your experience within the program upon graduation.
